What a huge milestone! We are so lucky to have the family-owned businesses we have in our community.

"75 years ago, on February 2, my dad, Leland Stratton and his good friend Nelson Rogers went to Albert Steel’s house and bought our business located at 320 North Main.

They didn’t purchase much. An old run-down wooden rice mill with a single seed cleaner in it on leased property. Few businesses last 75 years. Ours did due to the grace of God, good customers, and many co-workers that have grown it to the business we enjoy today. Our thanks to all of you that make our business what it is. Each of you have been and currently are a part of its success. Please continue to work hard together...to grow the company. Its future success depends on all of us."
