The parish congratulates Mark Griever and Lauren Griever née Downen who were sacramentally married at Our Lady of the Lake on December 3rd.
The parish is offering free of charge a Christmas gift to each household: Brant Pitre's Jesus and the Jewish Roots of the Eucharist. Ushers will have them available after the masses.
Our Advent penance service will be Tuesday the 20th starting at 6 p.m. Father Stephen will be joined by Frs. Sanchez from St. Joseph in Greenville and Sebastian from Sacred Heart in Greenville.
A message from Fr. Stephen: "Each year the entirety of the collection at Christmas masses goes to the support of the Clergy Welfare Fund and not to the parish. If you are wishing to provide a financial gift to the parish before the end of 2022, please be aware of this fact and instead offer your gift via mail or drop it off at the parish office. In view of our upcoming building project, the parish is happy to, at your request, dedicate your donations to our building fund held at the Deposit and Loan Fund, be they cash equivalents, (gifts-of-grain), et al."

As we prepare to vacate the church building on January 8th, sign-up sheets are available in the vestibule for different teams to help prepare the Church the week of January 1st-7th. The groups are: 1) Pew removal 2) Statue and station of the cross removal 3) Organs 4) Preparing the parish hall
Donations for the Food Pantry. Please bring your items and place them in the basket beside the organ or you may bring them by the office during regular office hours.
Registration is now open for the Women of Hope, a day long retreat for the women of the Diocese of Little Rock, to be held at Christ the King Parish in Little Rock on February 3, 2023. A flyer has been posted on the door in the cry room or contact Debbie Vaughn for more information.

Eucharistic Procession & Mass for Life: On Sunday January 22, 2023, Bishop Anthony Taylor will preside at our annual diocesan Mass for Life. The Mass will be celebrated in the Wally Allen Ballroom of the Statehouse Convention Center in Little Rock at noon. Bishop Taylor will lead the Eucharistic Procession for Life, beginning at 10:00 a.m. on the plaza in front of the DoubleTree Hotel (Broadway and Markham Sts), through the Riverfront Park in downtown Little Rock, approximately 3/4 mile. There will be Eucharistic Adoration before Mass. Join hundreds of Catholics at this event as we give public witness to our faith and hope in Jesus Christ!
