We were so proud and honored to have the opportunity to present our Outdoor Recreation Grant Proposal to the Outdoor Recreation Grants Advisory Committee in Jacksonville. We were proud to advocate for Crossett and thankful to be selected for this final round in the application process. Our tennis court project proposal will be a huge win for our community and we are praying we are one of the projects awarded. In the event we aren’t selected for funding this year, rest assured we will pick ourselves up, learn how we can improve, and step back up to the plate next time. Thank you to everyone in the community who has helped us get this far! And a special thank you to Crossett Economic Development Foundation Executive Director Mike Smith for partnering with me on today’s presentation. This project is more than just outdoor recreation. It greatly impacts economic development! We aren’t sure when we will receive notification as to whether we were awarded, but when we know we will be sure to share the outcome with the community. We definitely gave it and are excited about this potential opportunity!
