UAM Volleyball voted eleventh in Great American Conference preseason coaches poll
The Great American Conference announced its 2022 volleyball preseason coaches poll on Thursday afternoon. First Year Head Coach Katrina English and the rest of the UAM Volleyball program checked in at eleventh place.
Coming off a 9-20 season in 2021, the Monticello Volleyball team looks to prove many wrong as they prepare for a fresh start under Coach English.
UAM was tagged at eleventh place, just one point over conference rival Southern Arkansas. Defending GAC champion Oklahoma Baptist University undoubtedly lead the pack as the preseason favorite, followed by Harding and Southeastern Oklahoma State who were tied for second, Arkansas Tech in fourth, and Henderson State rounding out the top 5 teams.
