Census Bureau: More women than men in Jefferson County in 2020

Of the 68,123 people living in Jefferson County in 2020, 50.6 percent (34,475) were women and 49.4 percent (33,648) were men, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained by the Lowe Delta News.

Males 18 and over outnumbered females in the same age group by 215. In the 65 and over age range, there were 6,661 females and 5,125 males.
