Arkansas City issued the following announcement on Mar. 15.
Please note: The northbound lane of Fifth Street will be closed indefinitely to all traffic at its intersection with Fifth Avenue (just east of Paris Park and Paris Park Pool). Sorry for any inconvenience!
UPDATE (4 PM): Current expectation is the road will remain closed for about a week.
