St. Andrew Church – Marianna issued the following announcement on Mar. 7.
O God, we beg for a speedy resolution to the conflict being waged on the Ukraine. We pray for those who are fighting and all the families and children enduring the ravages and horrors of that war. Give them hope and strength in their troubles and let your Spirit hover over them to keep them safe. When their hearts are fearful, their bodies weary, their souls downcast, come with Your power and bring them peace. Give us courage to stand in solidarity with all those who are oppressed and suffering. We ask this for the sake of your love. Amen.
