Lakeside United Methodist Church issued the following announcement on Feb. 6.
Turning water into wine at a wedding party is one of Jesus’ most well-known yet least understood miracles. It is memorable, fun to make jokes about, and easy to mistake as just some divine magic trick. But the Gospel writer tells us it was so much more: a sign that revealed his glory and led his brand new disciples to believe in him.
