Arkansas City recently issued the following announcement.
The Arkansas City/Winfield Recycling Operations Center, located at 22180 D St. in Strother Field, is open from 8 a.m. to noon on Fridays and Saturdays (except for holiday weekends).
In 2021, the holiday closure dates are January 16, February 13, May 28-29, July 2-3, September 3-4, November 26-27, and December 24-25 and 31.
