Holy Child of Jesus Church – Dumas issued the following announcement on Sept. 26.
First United Methodist Church is once again needing volunteers to help distribute shoes and other items to youth in our community. More than 400 children have registered, which happens to be the most in the past three years. Each child will get shoes, socks, coat/jacket, and books, including a new age appropriate Bible storybook. If you are able to help in distributing these gifts, please join us on October 10 at the FUMC from 2:00-4:00. No pre-registration needed. Come early at 1:30 to discuss where to go and what to do.
