The University of Arkansas at Monticello enrolls 2,810 undergrads

At the University of Arkansas at Monticello, 83 percent of undergraduate students are traditional students - age 24 or younger - and 56 percent are female, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The four-year public institution in Monticello enrolled 3,111 students in fall 2018, including 2,810 in undergraduate and 301 in graduate programs, data shows. 6.1 percent of undergraduates transferred from another college or university.

87 percent of undergraduates are residents of Arkansas, and 13 percent are residents of other states.

The undergraduate student body is comprised mostly of students who identify as white (60 percent) and Black or African American (29 percent).
