Our Lady Of the Lake Catholic Church – Lake Village issued the following announcement on May 15.

In honor of our parish’s co-patron, St. Isidore the Farm, and in order to raise funds for the celebration of Our Lady of Guadalupe in December, our parish’s Spanish-speaking council is hosting a tamale sale on Sunday, May 15th.

Those with preordered tickets will be guaranteed their tamales, but there will be 30 dozen extra of pork and 20 dozen extra of chicken. They will go on sale on Sunday at 10 am on a first come, first served basis. Tamales are $18 per dozen.

In honor of San Isidro Labrador, co-patron of our parish, and to raise funds for the Celebration of The Virgin of Guadalupe in December, the Hispanic-speaking Council is hosting a tamal venda on Sunday, May 15.

Those with preordered tickets will be guaranteed their tamales, but there will be an extra 30 dozen pork and an extra 20 dozen chicken. The sale of extras will begin at 10am Sunday on a first come, first serve basis. They are $18 per dozen.
