Today is the Solemnity of the Twenty-Sixth Sunday in Ordinary Time

A warm welcome is extended to all visitors and new parishioners who are here today.

The flowers on the Altar are in memory of Mike and Lou Pesaresi, donated by their family.

Reminder: Items and donations to the local Food Pantry may be placed in the basket located in the front of the church by the organ. You may also bring them by the office during regular office hours. Please give what you can.

All men 18 and over are invited to participate in Men of Faith, every Friday at 6 a.m. This week, Dr. John Parks of Lake Village Clinic will speak to us on his experiences of family medicine and faith during the years he spent in Malawi in Africa. Come for coffee, food, and challenge, “as iron sharpens iron.” (Prov 27:17)

Friday’s following daily Mass we will have Coffee Time, begins at 8:30 a.m. please come and have coffee and fellowship with us. Parishioners and non-Parishioners welcome.

W.C. “Dub” Brassell Adult Detention Center staff respond to medical emergency; investigation ongoing

A detainee at W.C. “Dub” Brassell Adult Detention Center died after a medical emergency on April 27. Staff provided immediate aid before transporting him for further treatment. An investigation into his death is underway.
