Holy Rosary Church – Stuttgart issued the following announcement on Jan. 26.

Bishop Anthony B. Taylor gives a clear and concise explanation of Catholic teaching on how the Bible came to be, how God is the author of it and how it should be read.

You and I call the Bible the word of God, yet it contains very few words that God actually spoke. The New Testament calls Jesus the word of God, yet Jesus didn’t write any of it and much of it is about things done by Paul and Peter.
