Sunday, September 18, is Catechetical Sunday. It is a day to recognize those who serve as catechists. It is also a time to reflect upon the responsibility of every baptized person to share their faith in Jesus Christ. There will be a special collection to support the ministries of religious education and faith formation, dedicated to helping people to learn and teach the Catholic faith. Half of the collection stays in the parish to support our CCD and RCIA programs. The rest goes to support faith formation throughout the diocese.
