Holy Child of Jesus Church – Dumas issued the following announcement on Jan. 16.
Our parish will take up the 137th annual National Black and Indian Mission Collection on January 30. Our support of this collection builds the Church in African American, Native American, and Alaska Native communities from coast to coast. Schools, parish religious education programs, and diocesan ministries depend on your generosity to spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ! Our diocese also received $31,000 in grant funding from this collection last year.
