Armory Park on West Choctaw Street

As requested by one of Dumas young citizens, the Dumas City Council has purchased and installed a handicap swing in Armory Park on West Choctaw Street. Other renovations are forth coming.

Magnolia (West Dumas) Park

New playground equipment has been installed at Magnolia (West Dumas) Park. The Mayor and Dumas City Council approved the equipment in 2021, but COVID and the weather hampered its installation. Davis Playground, Inc. installed the equipment, Richard Pambianchi Construction Company assisted the ground work, and Dumas Street and Maintenance Department workers assisted with the removal of the old equipment and cleaning of the park. Funds were approved from Dumas General Funds. The total cost of the equipment and new amenities was $71,490.78.

Renovations will soon begin in Memorial Park.
