Arkansas County – AR issued the following announcement on June 13.

Good morning Arkansas! Another scorching day is expected, particularly east and northeast AR. 

Heat index values of 105 to 110+ degrees are expected around the state, so be sure to check on those most vulnerable, and take plenty of breaks if you must be outside today.
