Arkansas City issued the following announcement on April 1.
Notice from the Public Services Department, Street Division: Starting today the east side of the intersection at 2nd Street and Spruce Avenue will be closed to through traffic for road repair and ADA accessibility installation. The road will be closed for approximately 2 weeks, weather permitting. For more information please call 620-441-4460. Sorry for the inconvenience during the repairs!
