On Saturday, March 7, at 3 p.m., the Ouachita Baptist Tigers, featuring former Monticello High School standout Alaina Lyle, were defeated 9-2 by the Southern Arkansas Lady Muleriders in NCAA Division II softball.
The matchup occurred at Dawson Field at the Mulerider Softball Complex and marked the third meeting this season between these teams. The Tigers previously fell 14-0 to the Lady Muleriders earlier on Saturday, March 7.
Lyle pitched two innings, yielding three earned runs and issuing one walk.
The Tigers are set to play next on Friday, March 13, at 3 p.m. at Tere Webber Field (Cypert Athletic Complex) against Southern Nazarene Crimson Storm.
